The purpose of WeRFolks is :

A) To empower, elevate, motivate and engage individuals who are interested in exploring the existing Metaverse features to create positive change in their local and global communities.

B) To promote lasting friendships outside of one's own place, district and country, which serve as a strong incentive for attracting.

C) To explore new opportunities for service while having fun enhancing the user experience.

This Rotary Fellowship shall operate in compliance with Rotary International’s policies for Rotary Fellowships, but it shall not be an agency of, or controlled by, Rotary International.

Metaverse - The Metaverse refers to an immersive and persistent three-dimensional virtual realm, shared with many users, that spans various digital platforms and merges with the physical world, where people can shop, work, play and hang out together in real time. The Metaverse is described as the inevitable evolution of the internet, the next version of Internet. The Metaverse is defined as a spatial computing platform that provides digital experiences as an alternative to or a replica of the real world, along with key civilizational aspects like social interactions, currency, trade, economy, and property ownership – founded on a bedrock of blockchain technology.
